Yak-52 Conversions & Yak Camp

Ownership of a Yak-52 brings a whole new world of capability and performance to the owner. Rigorous conversion training is necessary to stay safe and to get the most from the aircraft. No-one knows better how to safely operate the Yak-52 than the DOSAAF who have operated the type since inception in 1978.

 
Conversion training is available all year round at CTFTC with Findlay Smith who has completed the full DOSAAF course and Instructor training.

 
CTFTC is proud to have formed an association with ex. DOSAAF instructor Gennady Elfimov (Gena) to provide re-current coaching in the DOSAAF training system.

Pilots PIC and/or Instructor rated in the Yak-52 have the opportunity to fly with Gena in their own aircraft during the camp. Yak Camp is usually planned as an annual event each Southern Autumn.
